Our Community Groups

Because we want you to feel comfortable when joining a Community Group, here’s some more information about each individual group, who they are and when they meet. We encourage you to try out a few groups to find the right one for you and your family.

The Hart Community Group

Our Community Group gathers at Worthington Glen apartments on Thursdays at 6:30 pm. As a young, married couple with no children, we are excited to be a part of a growing community and church. We desire the Gospel to be our heartbeat every day as we learn and grow together through studying the Word, having fellowship, fun, and serving. People from all walks of life are welcome and we offer childcare reimbursement.

The Hughey/Straub Community Group

The Hughey/Straub Community Group meets at rotating homes on Wednesdays at 6:15pm. This group is made up of inter-generational families. With both grandparents and parents of young children, the multi-generational dynamic brings perspective and lots of fun. The desire of our community group is to grow as Christ followers so we become living examples of loving God and loving others in our marriages, homes, communities, and workplaces. Childcare is not provided, but is partially reimbursed for parents.

The Rainer Community Group

The Rainer Community Group meets at the church building, Sundays at 6pm. This group is made up mostly of parents with younger children, but we also have families with no kids and empty nesters, as well. We love a good discussion while making sure we have a fun time. In addition to spending time together, we also love to find time to serve our community in different capacities. All are welcome! Childcare is provided.

The Mills Community Group

The Mills’ Group meets in the Wades Grove Subdivision on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. We invite you to find community with us as we enjoy eating together, talking together and navigating our lives through biblical truth. Who is God? Why are we here? How does the Bible apply to my life now. We are journeying to better learn these things together and do so in a fun atmosphere! Child care is not provided but our group does offer childcare reimbursement.

The Oates/Finch Community Group

The Oates/Finch Community Group will be meeting every Sunday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm.  While our initial group will be made of couples in our 40’s and up – we set the example for cool, so all adults are encouraged to join us.  Our goal is to get to know each other, share in the successes of life, and minister to each other in difficulties too.  We want our relationships to extend beyond just being a church group and into being, “real friends.”  Childcare reimbursement offered.
