Jonah: The Relentless Love Of God

This series looks at two of Jonah's main actions: running from God and responding to God’s call. We will consider these two actions in light of the cross to see how they can shape our faith today.

Miracles of Jesus

This sermon series on the miracles of Jesus explores how the signs and wonders He performed attest to His divinity. These miracles testify to Jesus’ limitless compassion for people and his longing to see people set free from bondage.  It will also explore Jesus’s absolute authority and power over the devil, sickness, death, and nature, thereby confirming to all that He is indeed the Messiah and the Son of God.

The Story of Easter

This is a 6 week series on the Story of Easter.  Throughout his earthly life, Jesus told his disciples and others what he was doing. But divine hints of what was to come were not limited only to Christ’s years on earth. God had always been telling his people what Jesus was going to do, and even now, Jesus tells us what he is going to do in our lives. He tells us the what (continue to save sinners) and the how (using us and our work in the midst of this world).

Sermon on the Mount

Sermon on the Mount: A Kingdom Upside Down is a 8 week series to encourage the Christian to go beyond the superficial and search deep into their heart to see themselves as Christ sees them.  Christ’s bold Sermon on the Mount challenged his hearers to understand that God was seeking internal righteousness from them, not just external acts. This is only possible through God’s work to bring new life in us.

Matthew

This sermon series will a year long journey through the book of Matthew in 2022.  These messages will examine the broader themes in Matthew like God’s character, Jesus as the fulfillment of the Old Testament’s promises for a Messiah,  and the importance of internal integrity over external behavior. It lays out practical application points like the need for salvation, baptism, and repentance.  It also provides answers to the question “Who is Jesus?”.  It invites you to recognize Jesus as God’s Son and to receive him as Lord of your lives.

The Season of Grace

Christmas reminds us of the incredible grace God offers through his son Jesus. This story of redemption began long before that starry night in Bethlehem. Through this series, we will understand that:  1) We all need a savior; 2) Our savior came for everyone; 3) Our savior lived a life of humility, offering us grace through his death and resurrection.

Joy Full: A Generous and Content Life

This ten week series provides a survey of the book of Philippians. One of the key messages of Paul’s letter to the church of Philippi focuses on discovering a true joy in the Lord, because Jesus’s kingdom surpasses the circumstances of life.

Faithful: Steadfastness During Trying Times

What would you do if you knew that “for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28)? What would you do if you knew that God’s presence was always with you (Psalm 139)? As Christians, we know these statements are true, but often we fail to apply them in a concrete way.

Power for Salvation

This Pauline epistle encompasses a vast amount of foundational theological truths for the Christian life. We’ll dive into a bird’s-eye view from thirty-thousand feet, describing the sinfulness of humanity, the atoning work of Christ, the transforming power of the Spirit, and the new ethic for a Christian life.
