I heard the best sound yesterday: the sound of a lawnmower! That means two things: Warm days are ahead and Easter is coming.
We are about three weeks away from Easter weekend. While we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus every Sunday, I love when we take a Sunday to narrow in on what the resurrection means. As Easter weekend approaches, here is how you can begin to prepare:
- Pray. Ask God to begin to prepare your heart. Ask God to be with those individuals who will come to church for the first time in a long time. Ask God to move in ways that only He can.
- Plan to attend. Mark your calendar for our Good Friday Night of Worship on 3/29 at 6pm. And we will have two services at 9am and 10:30am on Sunday, March 31st. Both services will have full Kids Ministry.
- Invite. Easter is one of the most receptive times for someone to accept an invitation to attend church. Begin to pray about who God has put in your life that you can invite to join you on Easter Sunday. We will be giving out some tools that will help you!
I'm expectant for Easter. I'm expectant for this Sunday. We have two more weeks in the book of Hebrews. Let's all finish strong! I'll see you this Sunday at 9am or 10:30am.
