Hebrews: The Complete Work of Christ

Sin causes us to experience shame, rejection, and pain.  This series highlights the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ in the Book of Hebrews—offering hope to all of those struggling with self-doubt and seclusion. By exploring the passages that connect Jesus' ministry to the fulfillment of the Law, this guide will help you not only better understand the Old Testament, but also how Jesus completes the story of God’s redemption. This is a great series to remind others of God’s love for them, as well as the sacrifice He made to bring them back to God.

Christmas List: Reordering Our Priorities

This four-week series examines the nativity story and how we should view our priorities during the Christmas season. Through understanding the context and characters, we will see the importance of prioritizing others, adjusting our list of priorities, and rethinking our time. We’ll also be reminded that the Christian virtues presented in the Christmas season should be normal for Christians throughout the year.

Grow In Grace

The body of Christ, the church, must be diligent in recognizing false teachers and doctrine while trusting the Scriptures and recognizing true ministers of the Word. By learning to recognize false teachers, Christians will also be able to identify those who teach truth and by living into that truth they can grow in the grace of God and Christian virtue.

Three Days and Denials

Peter’s denial and restoration is a vibrant picture of the power of Christ’s death and resurrection in one person’s life. We can see ourselves in Peter’s self-protective denial, his grief over his sin, and the pain and joy of Christ’s healing work in his life. This Easter series meditates on this story to draw each of us closer to Christ’s saving work and its impact on our lives.

DNOW Weekend

Our students are participating in a weekend of discipleship called "Discipleship Now." This a special weekend for them to focus on and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We are excited to see how our students are impacted by the movement of the Holy Spirit over these days.  We will connect with our students during our Sunday worship services. Our students will help lead worship and our message will focus on what the students have been hearing all weekend.

Hope Fully

This 12-week series focuses on 1 Peter where we will look at what it means to have hope as sojourners.  This chapter points us towards eternal hope.  The Christian hope is more than mere optimism that says things will “hopefully” work out. It is a sure hope, and so we “hope fully” (1 Peter 1:13) through every trial and test of faith.

Christmas 2022 and New Years Day

Special series for Christmas 2022 and New Years Day Jan 1, 2023.  We celebrate the birth of Jesus because He is the Good News.  Jesus is God entering into humanity to give us hope – to give us the Good News that Jesus is the Savior of the World.

Who Is This Man?

Who Is This Man? The Inescapable Power of Jesus is a series that examines aspects of Jesus’s character. His character is revealed by his interactions with his disciples, with those who need healing, and even with children. In these interactions, Jesus shows that his heart is for all people, even (perhaps especially) those outside the traditional community. Through words difficult and caring, Jesus declares that his people should trust in him and participate in his work, for the sake of their neighbors.

Parables: Jesus the Storyteller

This series deals with the parables of Jesus from the Gospel of Matthew. Through understanding the context and audience, we can see that parables teach us about compassion, faithfulness, responsibility, the generosity of God, and the importance of living kingdom lives for God.

Miracles of Jesus

This sermon series on the miracles of Jesus explores how the signs and wonders He performed attest to His divinity. These miracles testify to Jesus’ limitless compassion for people and his longing to see people set free from bondage.  It will also explore Jesus’s absolute authority and power over the devil, sickness, death, and nature, thereby confirming to all that He is indeed the Messiah and the Son of God.

The Story of Easter

This is a 6 week series on the Story of Easter.  Throughout his earthly life, Jesus told his disciples and others what he was doing. But divine hints of what was to come were not limited only to Christ’s years on earth. God had always been telling his people what Jesus was going to do, and even now, Jesus tells us what he is going to do in our lives. He tells us the what (continue to save sinners) and the how (using us and our work in the midst of this world).
