Haiti Mission Trip Supplies Needed

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

- Matthew 28:19-20

From October 21st to 28th, a team from The Church at Spring Hill will be leaving to minister to the people of Neply, Haiti. This team is focused on engaging in gospel actions and gospel conversations in order to carry out the church's mission to "Go on Mission."

Even though you may not be going on the trip, you can still participate in our mission to "Go!"

There are three ways you can help with this mission:

  1. Pray. Pray for the team. Pray for the organization, My Life Speaks, that the church is partnering with. Pray for the people of Neply, Haiti.
  2. Give. If you are interested in giving financially to support the team members with their trip costs, email Jess at  to learn more.
  3. Donate. The team is collecting supplies to help with the missionaries on the field, as well as the people of Neply. There will be a bucket in the lobby for you to donate the following items:
    1. Infant formula powder
    2. Prenatal vitamins
    3. Children’s multivitamins
    4. Diapers
    5. Peanut butter — 3 large tubs
    6. Jars of Jelly — 2 large jars, any flavor
    7. HP Black & Color Printer Cartridges — 2 No Black 61XL/ Tri-color 61XL
    8. Baby wipes — 4 boxes
    9. PediSure Powder — 2 cans

Jess Rainer is the Lead Pastor for The Church at Spring Hill. He has previously served on staff for three churches, two of which were new churches. He is also the co-author of the book, The Millennials. Jess received a B.S. in Finance from Murray State University and an M.A. in Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary. Jess is married to Rachel and has four children: Canon, Will (now with the Lord), Harper, and Collins.

Jess loves being a husband, dad, and pastor. When he’s able to squeeze in some time between these three things, you’ll find Jess working on Rainer Publishing, a small publishing company that he started with his brothers. If it’s a Saturday in the fall, Jess will be cheering on the Crimson Tide. And at some point in the year, you can find Jess on a Florida beach or snow skiing down the closest mountain.
