At the beginning of each year, I spend some time praying and dreaming about what might take place throughout the course of the year. While I don't know the future, I know that I want my future to be in God's hands.
This year, God has placed the idea of "being expectant" on my mind and heart. Over the past year, God has reminded me that He's a big God with big plans. And I want to to be a part of those big plans. I don't know where God is going to take me in 2024, but I know that I am expectant of Him and His plans.
I want to encourage you to do the same. Be expectant. Be expectant that God will show up in your prayer life, in your family, and in you. Be expectant that will use you in ways that you can't imagine. If we, as a church family, can hold this posture throughout 2024, who knows what God will do!
Let's start our expectancy this Sunday. Let's come hungry for His Word. Let's come prepared to be worship. I can't wait to see what's ahead for us.
